Christine teaches! She specializes in guiding younger voices to preserve the natural voice, keeping it light, bright and healthy. Christine also works with popular music singers, teaching them how to sing without damaging their voices. Since these singers use microphones, it is especially important to teach them to avoid over-singing and use the mic to their advantage. Learning how to record in a "booth" is another area where students can gain information and specific techniques. Other concerns involve the proper use of the chest voice in popular singing. Instruction includes learning to use the head voice, or, in the case of men, develop their falsetto which extends the range and adds a nice option for particular types of popular music. Another area in which Christine is skilled is in coaching those preparing dialogue, public speaking, accent correction, voice-over and deportment.
